AGE GROUP : 14 – 16 YEARS OLD
This course develops learners’ ability to produce clear, purposeful and well-structured non-fiction texts. Through a range of writing tasks—such as explanations, instructions, arguments and informative pieces—learners explore how to adapt their style and tone to suit different audiences and purposes. Emphasis is placed on selecting vocabulary, grammar and structure with intent, using persuasive techniques and supporting evidence effectively. Learners build confidence in organising their ideas logically and presenting them with clarity, precision and impact.
Creative Writing (Fiction)
AGE GROUP : 14 – 16 YEARS OLD
This course focuses on developing imaginative and engaging writing that reflects a clear sense of purpose and audience. Learners are guided in how to use vocabulary, grammar, and structure thoughtfully to produce coherent, expressive texts. With an emphasis on narrative voice, atmosphere and emotional impact, the course explores a range of rhetorical and literary techniques. Through careful planning and crafting, learners build the skills to write with originality, consistency, and creative control.

English Language Reading
AGE GROUP : 14 – 16 YEARS OLD
This course develops learners’ critical reading and comprehension skills through engagement with a variety of high-quality texts. Learners are taught to identify key themes, ideas and details, draw inferences, and support their interpretations with evidence. The course places emphasis on analysing how writers use language, structure and form to shape meaning, with accurate use of subject terminology. Learners also develop the ability to summarise and synthesise information, compare texts effectively, and reflect on bias, viewpoint and alternative interpretations with increasing confidence and insight.
Spoken Language Endorsement
AGE GROUP : 14 – 16 YEARS OLD
This course focuses on developing clear, confident and articulate spoken communication. Learners are guided in planning and delivering effective presentations, selecting and organising content to suit different audiences and purposes. Through structured activities, they build skills in active listening and learn to respond thoughtfully to questions and feedback. Standard English is consistently modelled and practised, enabling learners to express their ideas with accuracy and appropriateness across both academic and real-world settings.

IGCSE Coursework Cambridge IGCSE | Edexcel IGCSE
AGE GROUP : 14 – 16 YEARS OLD
This course combines analytical reading with a variety of writing forms to build confidence, clarity and control in learners’ written expression. Learners are taught to communicate thoughts and ideas effectively, organise content for impact, and use vocabulary, sentence structures and register appropriate to audience and purpose. Technical accuracy is reinforced throughout.
Alongside writing, learners develop key reading skills, including interpreting explicit and implicit meaning, evaluating ideas and attitudes, and selecting evidence to support a viewpoint. The course promotes thoughtful interpretation and precise language use, helping learners become reflective, purposeful and articulate readers and writers.
GCSE English Language Resit Exam Preparation
AGE GROUP : 16 – 18 YEARS OLD
This course is designed for students who did not achieve a grade 4 or the required standard in GCSE English Language and wish to resit the exam for further education, training or employment purposes. The course provides targeted preparation for both Paper 1 and Paper 2, focusing on reading comprehension, analytical skills and transactional and creative writing. Where applicable, students may carry forward components such as coursework or the Spoken Language Endorsement. The course supports learners in developing the skills and confidence needed to improve their performance and achieve a higher grade.
