How much does tuition cost?
Our fees are: GCSE, KS3 and 11+ English tuition at £65–£70 per session, and A Level English tuition at £69–£74 per session. All lessons are delivered online, one-to-one through Zoom or through a reliable tuition platform, providing high-quality tuition directly into the learner’s home.
Please note that tuition booked through external platforms may be higher, as they add a premium to the price for the additional facilities they provide.

Discount options are available through invoiced block bookings—either monthly or in blocks of 10 sessions—and a 10% sibling discount is also offered, providing families with extra savings.
Families are encouraged to choose the booking option that best suits their circumstances, ensuring both flexibility and value while still receiving premium, examiner-led support.

How can I book a session?
You can book through the website using the “Book Now” or “Book Consultation” buttons. Alternatively, complete the “Contact Us” form, call 07721 267296, or email englishtuitionhub@outlook.com.
When enquiring, it is helpful to include your child’s year group, exam board, areas they find challenging, your goals for tuition, and your availability for lessons. This allows us to recommend the most suitable plan from the outset.
Once a session has been booked, a further information request email will be sent to gather more details about the student’s work and specific needs, so lessons can be carefully planned and tailored from the very beginning.

How are online English classes delivered?
All English tuition online is delivered through Zoom, a secure and reliable platform. Lessons are interactive, with screen sharing, document annotation and real-time feedback to replicate the benefits of face-to-face tuition. Learners receive clear explanations, personalised guidance and access to shared resources throughout the session. Lessons are carefully structured to include discussion, practice tasks and feedback, so that learners remain engaged and make visible progress each week. Zoom allows work to be reviewed together in real time, creating a collaborative classroom environment from the comfort of the learner’s home. External tuition providers use their own secure and reliable platforms.
11.
How is progress tracked during online lessons?
We use Google Docs as a collaborative workspace, where learners write and edit while Devyani provides feedback in real time. This allows students to respond immediately to guidance, refine their work during the lesson, and build stronger writing habits. Each draft is saved, creating a clear record of progress over time that can be revisited for reflection and revision. This not only makes progress measurable and visible, but also gives parents the opportunity to see evidence of their child’s development and how their writing has improved across sessions. Google Docs also supports independent learning between lessons, as learners can continue working on shared documents and return to them in the following session for further feedback and refinement.
12.
Is English tuition online safe?
Yes. All Zoom sessionsor external provider platformsare password-protected and hosted securely. Devyani holds full DBS clearance, completes safeguarding training every year, and is a member of The Tutors’ Association. Families can be assured that every session is safe, professional, and conducted to the highest standards.
13.
Do you provide resources outside of lessons?
Yes. Learners receive bespoke resources and examiner-style feedback to guide their progress. Homework is set regularly to consolidate learning and may include completing English GCSE worksheets, practising exam-style questions, research tasks, or creative writing exercises. These tasks are reviewed in the following lesson so that progress can be tracked and gaps addressed.
Where appropriate, we also suggest reliablerevision guides and wider reading to support independent study, ensuring learners have access to high-quality resources that complement their tuition. Extra practice materials are provided as needed, and our blog offers additional tips on revision, online English writing, and exam preparation.
